Jane joined the University as Vice President and General Counsel in July 2000. A member of the President's Executive Committee, she provides general legal counsel to the President, the University's governing boards and its senior academic and administrative officers, and advises on the legal implications of University policy and decision-making. She previously served as counsel to the law firm Williams & Connolly LLP, as Associate Counsel for The Washington Post, and as Washington Counsel for NBC. Jane has taught as both an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center and as an invited lecturer at the University of Virginia School of Law. She also served as Special Assistant to the Deputy Attorney General of the United States and as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Charles B. Renfrew of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Jane received her undergraduate degree in history from Princeton University and her law degree from the University of Virginia.

Kathryn joined the University in September 1997. Before coming to Georgetown, Kathryn served as Vice President and General Counsel of the United Way of America and as General Secretary of the American Lutheran Church. She also spent one year as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School, where she taught classes in tax-exempt organizations and charitable giving. She teaches Government 300, "Lawyers and the American Legal System" at Georgetown University. Kathryn received her undergraduate degree from Valparaiso University, her law degree from the University of Minnesota, and her LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.

Lauralyn joined the University in September 2002. She came to Georgetown from Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering, a Washington, D.C. law firm, where her practice included general litigation and internal investigations. Prior to joining Wilmer, she served as a law clerk for Julia S. Gibbons, then Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. Lauralyn has also taught as a Professorial Lecturer in Law at The George Washington University Law School. She received her undergraduate degree in political science from Arizona State University and her law degree from Duke University School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Lauralyn pursued graduate research in international public law at The University of Dublin, Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar.

Paul joined the University in his current position in early 2007. Before coming to Georgetown, Paul served as Vice President & Deputy General Counsel of PBS, where he provided legal support and counsel on a wide range of legal and business issues including structuring and negotiating complex business transactions; trademark, copyright and intellectual property; media and entertainment; technology and Internet-related issues; and complex commercial litigation and risk management. Paul also previously served as Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of CAIS Internet, a Nasdaq Internet service and broadband solutions provider headquartered in Washington, DC. Paul began his in-house legal career after years of private law firm practice, most recently with Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue. He earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School and his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the George Washington University.

Lisa joined the University in November 1998. She first served in the position of Staff Counsel, providing advice on a wide range of issues at the University, including labor and employment, student affairs and academic issues, and contract related issues. She was promoted to Assistant Counsel in 2000 and Associate Counsel in 2004, and her practice now focuses on providing counseling and advice on labor and employment issues and policies involving faculty, AAPs, and staff. Prior to coming to Georgetown, Lisa practiced labor and employment law at O'Melveny & Meyers LLP in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. She also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable J. Spencer Letts of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Lisa received her undergraduate degree in public policy from Stanford University and her law degree from UCLA School of Law.

Katie joined the University as Staff Counsel in April of 2008. Prior to joining the Office of University Counsel, she was an associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP in Philadelphia and Washington DC. Katie received her undergraduate degree in English and Theology from Georgetown University in 2000 and her law degree from Georgetown Law Center in 2004.

Andrea joined the University in May 1992 as a full-time specialist in real estate law. Andrea joined the Office of the University Architect in her current position in July 1998. Prior to coming to Georgetown she worked at Wilkes, Artis, Hedrick & Lane. Andrea received her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Virginia.

Gale joined the University in February 1997. She previously worked as an administrative assistant at both George Washington and Howard Universities. She received a paralegal degree from George Washington University and further pursued a criminal justice/public administration degree at the University of the District of Columbia. Gale serves as office manager and budget officer and provides administrative support to Paul Greco and Kathryn Baerwald. She is also responsible for the supervision of secretarial support and student employees.

Rob joined the Office of University Counsel in May 2003. He provides litigation support, handles subpoenas and other requests for documents and/or information, manages the University's legal expenses, administers and participates in the office's contracts review process, and undertakes special projects for the University's attorneys. Rob is a third-year evening student at the Georgetown University Law Center.
